Eligibility Criteria for Kerala PSC Foreman 2025

Age Limit:
Candidates must be between 18 and 41 years, i.e., born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2007 (both dates inclusive).

1. Age relaxation is applicable for candidates belonging to SC/ST and Other Backward Communities, as per government norms.

Educational Qualifications:

1. Pass in SSLC or equivalent qualification.
2. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering from a recognized institution.
3. Preference will be given to candidates with 5 years of supervisory experience in an automobile workshop, especially involving Marine Diesel Engines.
4. Candidates’ proficiency will be assessed through a practical test conducted by the Kerala Public Service Commission during the selection process.

Note:

• Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
• Qualifications recognized as equivalent or higher by government orders or standing orders will also be considered valid. Relevant proof must be submitted when required by the Commission.

Probation Period:
Appointed candidates will be on probation for two years on duty within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining.

Kerala PSC Foreman Salary 2025

The post of Foreman offers a salary scale of ₹39,300 to ₹83,000, as per the Kerala Government rules. In addition to the basic pay, eligible candidates will receive allowances and benefits according to government norms.

• Caste/Community Discrepancies:
