 Kerala PSC LP/UP Assistant: Age Limit

The candidates between 18 and 43 years are eligible for these posts.

Only For the post of L.P. School Assistant (Kannada Medium) and High School Assistant (Arabic) there is no age limit. Both these posts are by transfer posts.

Kerala PSC LP/UP Assistant: Educational Qualifications

• The candidate should have passed K-TET ( Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test) conducted by the state Government of Kerala.

OR

• Candidates who have qualified in SET/NET/Ph.D/CTET/M.Ed in the respective subjects will also be considered for this post. The candidate should possess B.Ed should be in the concerned Language.

Educational Qualifications for High School Assistant (Sanskrit)

• A Degree in Sanskrit and BT/ B. Ed /LT conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala

OR

• An Oriental Learning title in Sanskrit awarded or recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala along with a Certificate in Language Teachers Training issued by the Commissioner of Government Examinations, Kerala.
• Post Graduates in Sanskrit are also eligible to apply provided that they have B.T/ B.Ed/L.T.

Educational Qualifications for High School Assistant (Arabic)

• A Degree in Arabic or Arabic as one of the optional subjects along with /B.T/ B.Ed /L.T conferred or recognized by any of the Universities of Kerala.
• Postgraduates in Arabic are also eligible to apply provided if they possess B.T. / B.Ed/L.T.

Educational Qualifications for L.P. School Assistant (Kannada Medium)

• The candidate should have passed in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner of Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent.
  OR
•  The candidate should have passed in Pre-degree examination conducted by any of the Universities in           Kerala or any examination conducted by any recognized Universities in Kerala as equivalent to Pre degree examination.
  OR
• The candidate should have passed in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or any other equivalent Examinations recognized by the Government.
• The candidates must have passed in TTC (Kannada) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala.

    Educational Qualifications for High School Assistant (Natural Science)

• The candidate must possess a degree in the concerned subject and B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.

     Educational Qualifications for High School Assistant (Mathematics)

• The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as Main Subject and B.Ed/B.T in the concerned subjects conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala.
