Kerala PSC will release the official notification for recruitment of candidates for the post of LP/UP Assistant post in December. It will include the number of vacancies by direct appointment by transfer and NCA under the Education department. This time the salary is expected to be in the range of Rs.35600-  Rs.75400. Last time, there were a total of 24 vacancies in various subjects. The posting is distributed in different government schools across the state of Kerala. Kerala PSC LP/UP Assistant: Eligibility Criteria

• Except the posts where recruitment is by transfer, the direct recruitment posts are open for candidates aged 18 to 43 years old. For those posts, it is necessary to have cleared the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET). 
• Candidates with a degree in concerned subject, B.Ed / BT in concerned subject can apply for cat 368/2019. Those with bachelors degree in mathematics or statistics as main subject, and B.Ed / BT in concerned subject can go for cat 369-372/2019.
• Job seekers with either a degree in sanskrit and BEd / BT / LT, or a title of oriental learning in sanskrit and certificate in language teachers training can apply for cat 373-374/2019.
• Those with either a degree in Arabic or a degree with Arabic as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of part III and BEd / BT / LT, or a title of oriental learning in Arabic and certificate in language teachers training can apply for cat 382/2019.
• That being said, qualifiers of CTET, NET, SET, M.Phil, Ph.D, M.Ed. in respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET
