1. Method of Appointment:
Direct Recruitment.
2. Age Limit:
- 18–36 years.
- Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible.
- Usual age relaxation is allowed for SC, ST, and OBC candidates.
- Maximum age limit under any concession shall not exceed 50 years (see para 2, Part II, General Conditions of the Gazette Notification).
3. Educational Qualifications:

Kerala Government Certificate Examination (2-year course) in Civil Engineering.

Diploma in Craftsmanship (Draftsman – Civil) – 18 months course + 6 months practical training at ITIs/centres conducted by Govt. of India (Ministry of Labour/Skilled Development).

Diploma (2-year course) in Civil Engineering from Women’s Polytechnics.

Written/OMR/Online Test (if conducted):
- The selection process may begin with a Written/OMR/Online Test.
- Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration (OTR) profile.
- Only candidates who submit confirmation can generate and download Admission Tickets, available 15 days prior to the test.
- Applications of candidates who fail to submit confirmation within the stipulated period will be rejected absolutely.
