Kerala Public Service Commission has released the rank list of Motor Transport Sub Inspector in Police (Motor Transport Wing). The exam for the Sub Inspector post was held on 04th September 2020. After that, the shortlist was prepared and such candidates included in the shortlist were interviewed and suitable candidates selected by the Commission were arranged in the order of merit in the Kerala PSC Motor Transport Sub Inspector Rank List. The ranked list is brought into force with effect from 05 May 2021.

Motor Transport Sub Inspector Educational Qualifications
- Candidate having Degree or Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering from any university established by statute or any Degree or Diploma declared equivalent.
- 2 years experience in a Government approved Automobile workshop in the case of Diploma Holders and one- year of experience in the case of Degree Holders after the acquisition of the qualification.
- A Heavy-Duty Driving License for Driving.

1: Which Year First Assembly Election was held in Kerala?
The candidates who applied for the exam having the above qualifications were provisionally selected for the Exam and the exam was conducted on 04 September 2020. The cut-off for the exam was decided by the commission, and candidates who secured 41.67 marks and above were included in the Short List (published on 25 January 2021).
Thus, the shortlist (S/L NO: 09/2021/OLE) has been prepared by including the candidates who have secured top marks/ above cut off in the Online Test. These candidates were interviews, verified original documents for One-Time Verification.
The rank list (208/2021/OLE) was published on 25 May, including all eligible candidates based on their merit. The ranked list is brought into force with effect from 05th May 2021.

Probation
There will be basic training for a period of six months in the Kerala Police Academy or Police Training College or in any other institution which will be prescribed by the Director-General of Police.
During the period of training, the trainee will be paid the minimum of the basic pay of the post as a stipend. However, the training period will not count for the purpose of Probation, Increment, Promotion, or Higher Grade. Also, there will be a test conducted at the end of the training and after passing the test will have a right or claim for payment of salary on the prescribed scale.
Note
The ranked list will be in force till the publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier.
For printout of the answer sheet, remit the fees of Rs. 335/- in any of the Treasuries in the State (head of the account: 0051 PSC-800-State PSC-99-other receipts. And, then the printout of the answer sheet will be issued only once to a candidate.
