The online application process for the KSEB Assistant Engineer (Electrical) – By Transfer post has started on October 15, 2025. KSEB AE Eligibility Criteria 2025

• Method of Appointment: By transfer under the 10% in-service quota. Candidates must be regular employees of KSEB and declared probationers or approved probationers at the time of application.
• Age Limit: No upper age limit for this post.
• Service Certificate: Applicants must produce a certificate showing current post, scale of pay, department, service details, probation status, community (SC/ST/OBC), and tenure when called for verification.
• Educational Qualification: B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from an AICTE-recognized institution. Equivalent or higher qualifications approved by the government are also valid; proof must be provided if requested.
• Compliance: All requirements regarding service, qualifications, and documents must be met to remain eligible for selection.

KSEB Assistant Engineer Electrical Selection Process 2025

The selection for the Assistant Engineer (Electrical) – By Transfer post will follow a structured process under Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) guidelines:

• Written Test (if applicable): Candidates may be required to appear for a written, OMR, or online test. Confirmation through the One Time Registration (OTR) profile is mandatory to generate the admission ticket.
• Interview (if applicable): Shortlisted candidates may attend an interview to assess technical knowledge, skills, and suitability.
• Rank List: KPSC will prepare a ranked list based on performance, experience, and service record. The list remains valid for at least one year, or until a new list is published, but not exceeding three years. Appointments are made from this list for current and future vacancies within the period.
• Document Verification: Original certificates for education, experience, age, and community must be submitted for verification before appointment.
• Appointment & Probation: The Commission may cancel any appointment advice issued by mistake. In such cases, the appointing authority can terminate service within probation or 240 days of joining, whichever is earlier.
• Rules & Regulations: The selection is conducted strictly under KPSC rules, and any changes will follow their directives.

1. One Time Registration (OTR):
   All candidates must first register through the One Time Registration (OTR) system on the official Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) website: www.keralapsc.gov.in. If you are already registered, you can simply log in using your User-ID and password.

2. Applying for the Post:

   • After logging in, click on the ‘Apply Now’ button in the notification link for the respective post.

   • Upload a recent photograph with your name and the date taken printed legibly at the bottom.

     • For existing profiles, the uploaded photograph remains valid for 10 years.

     • New profiles must upload a photograph taken within the last 6 months.

   • Ensure that all personal information is accurate, as the candidate is responsible for the correctness of details and secrecy of the password.

3. Application Submission:

   • Review all information carefully before submitting; once submitted, applications cannot be deleted or altered.

   • Keep a printout or soft copy of your submitted application for future reference. You can download it from the ‘My Applications’ section of your profile.

   • Any correspondence with KPSC regarding the application should include a printout of the application.

   • Non-compliance with the notification may lead to summary rejection.

4. Supporting Documents:

   • Original documents proving qualification, experience, community, and age must be produced when called for verification.

   • Any profile corrections made after the last date of submission will not be reflected in the application unless updated officially by KPSC.

5. Examination Confirmation (If Applicable):

   • If a Written/OMR/Online Test is part of the selection, candidates must confirm their attendance through their OTR profile.

   • Only candidates who submit confirmation will be able to generate and download their admission tickets, which are available 15 days prior to the exam.

   • Failure to submit confirmation will lead to rejection of the application.

6. ID Proof Requirement:

   • Candidates with an Aadhaar card must add it as ID Proof in their profile.

7. Application Deadline:

   • The last date for submitting applications is 19th November 2025, Wednesday, up to 12 midnight.
