The applicant has to pass through phases of the selection process, a preliminary exam, the main exam, and an interview. The dates regarding the exams are published yet. The online application fee for the general category is Rs. 600 and the reserved categories have to pay Rs. 100. The applicant must have a graduate or postgraduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks and for SC/ST a minimum of 55% marks. Also, the applicant must be within the age limit of 21-30 years. NICL AO Exam Pattern 2022
The NICL AO exam takes place in two stages, the preliminary and the mains. Both the exams are in online mode. As there will be a greater number of applicants than the number of vacancies, many of the candidates get shortlisted through the preliminary exam. Later the candidates who are qualified in the prelims are called for the main exam. And the main exam qualified candidates are called for the final selection process, the interview.

The prelims exam is an objective-type online exam. There is a total of 100 questions with 60 minutes to complete the exam. The syllabus topics of NICL AO prelims are Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. The candidates have to qualify for the prelims with a minimum mark in order to get into the next stage of the selection process.3
NICL AO Exam Pattern for Mains 2022
The NICL AO main exam has two subdivisions, the objective and the descriptive. The main exam is in online mode. The syllabus topics of the main exam are Reasoning, English Language, General Knowledge, Computer Knowledge, and Quantitative Aptitude. The descriptive question will be asked to measure your English. The candidates have 2 ½ hours to complete their exam. The candidates who qualify the mains will be selected for the final round of the selection process, the interview.
