RRB SSE 2022 Eligibility Requirements
Educational Qualification
- Candidates who wants to become a Senior Section Engineer at Indian Railways through RRB SSE 2022 exam must hold a 4 year B.Tech/ BE degree in any discipline from a recognized university or board.
Age Criteria
- Minimum age limit for RRB SSE 2022 is : 20 years
- Maximum age limit for RRB SSE 2022 is : 34 years
Candidates belonging to reserved categories can have the benefit of age relaxation. Candidates claiming for age relaxation must submit proofs on request regarding the same.
- Age relaxation for OBC candidates : up to 3 years
- Age relaxation for Ex – Servicemen candidates : up to 3 years
- Age relaxation for candidates from SC/ ST categories : up to 5 years

- RRB SSE 2022 exam has two levels, (a) Computer Based Test (CBT) and (b) Document Verification.
- The total number of questions for CBT is 150.
- CBT has two parts : Part A and Part B.
- Part A has a total of 60 questions from General Awareness, Arithmetic Reasoning, Mental Ability etc.. and the maximum marks from this part is 60.
- Part B has 90 questions in total from Technical Ability and the maximum score is 90.
- Candidates must finish the test within 120 minutes or 2 hours.
- Candidates who successfully crack the CBT will be shortlisted for the next stage, that is, Document Verification (DV).
