About the Role

Salesforce is looking for ambitious, self-motivated, and creative-minded UI/UX designers to help shape products focused on industry-specific solutions, including:

• Financial Services Cloud
• Health Cloud
• Consumer Goods Cloud
• Public Sector Cloud
• B2C experiences

Interns will work on complex design problems and propose clear, efficient, and consistent solutions. The role requires a strong focus on user needs, beautiful design, and delivering products that ship.

Candidates should have empathy for end users, an interest in the latest design trends, apps, devices, and wearables, and the ability to work on high-value strategic initiatives under tight time constraints. The role also involves direct access to customer executives and Salesforce executive management, along with close collaboration with Salesforce Product and Sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate the Industries vision to a wide range of key stakeholders
• Build strong partnerships across Design, Product, Engineering, and Marketing
• Solve complex UX design problems across web, mobile, and tablet
• Collaborate with product owners and product managers to identify opportunities for new products and features
• Validate assumptions through user testing and research
• Work with engineering to deliver the final product
• Reinforce a design-thinking culture using the best product, technology, and innovative talent
• Own various web and mobile application interfaces
• Work with developers and QE teams to deliver a polished final product
• Evangelize new interface guidelines and design patterns

Skills and Experience Required

• Experience designing and delivering products in cross-functional teams from start to finish
• Deep understanding of user-centred design methods and best practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and agile environment
• Ability to influence others, build consensus, and deal with ambiguity
• Strong communication skills and self-motivation
• Ability to balance high-quality design with short deadlines
• Experience using analytics, user research, and other approaches to make product decisions
• Interest in staying updated with the latest industry news and developments
• Talent for creating simple solutions to complex problems
• Expert knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• BA/BS in a design-related field or equivalent experience

Modern Tooling Requirement

Candidates should have direct experience using and critically reviewing code and artefacts generated by large language model (LLM) coding assistants and agentic tools.

Salesforce states that graduates who have actively experimented with and used tools such as Gemini, Cursor, or other agent-based frameworks will be stronger candidates. Applicants should be able to effectively guide AI tools and applications to achieve desired outcomes.
