Age Limit
The applicants should be between 18-27 years as on the last date for application.
Age relaxation in the upper age limit for eligible candidates will be as follows:

Educational Qualifications
Lower Division Clerk (LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant(PA) / Sorting Assistant (SA), Data Entry Operator (DEO- except DEOs in C&AG)
The candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG)
12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
Note:
All the degrees/ diplomas /certificates awarded through Open and Distance Learning mode of education by the Universities stand automatically recognized for the purpose of employment to posts and services under the Central Government provided they have been approved by the University Grants Commission. However, the programs in engineering, medicine, dental, nursing, pharmacy, architecture, and physiotherapy, etc are not permitted to be offered under Open and Distance Learning mode.
The qualified candidates should produce Mark sheets, Provisional Certificates, etc for completion of Intermediate/ Higher Secondary/ 10+2/ Senior Secondary in original as proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification on or before the document verification.
Nationality/ Citizenship
A candidate must be either
- a citizen of India, or
- a subject of Nepal, or
- a subject of Bhutan, or
- a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

- Fill the registration form- Keep your Aadhaar card number, Matriculation certificates, photograph, signature, etc along with you while registering.
- Save and submit.
- Keep the system-generated Registration ID.
- Fill the SSC CHSL application form.
- Make the payment.
- Take the printout of the duly filled application form.
