If you wrote the Interview Posts – II exam
The exam was held on 7 and 8 March 2026, and the key covers seven subjects, including Agriculture, Business Administration, Law and the Tamil Eligibility Test paper. The objection window for this key has closed. Read the dedicated TNPSC CTSE Interview Posts II answer key guide for the subject codes and the rules that applied.
If you wrote the Non-Interview Posts exam
This exam ran from 16 August to 19 September 2026, and the key notice lists 32 subjects, from Agriculture and Archaeology to Travel and Tourism and Visual Communication. The objection window is open until 14 October 2026, 5:45 PM. Read the dedicated TNPSC CTSE Non-Interview Posts answer key guide for the full subject-wise list and how to file objections.
TNPSC CTSE Answer Key 2026 – Rules Common to Both Answer Key Notices
The commission applies the same basic framework to both releases:
- The right answer is tick-marked in the specimen question booklet hosted on the TNPSC website.
- Candidates must challenge answers only by the question number in the specimen booklet, regardless of the code on the booklet they received in the exam hall.
- Objections and views received with evidence go to an Expert Committee for finalisation of the keys.
- Representations must be submitted online only through www.tnpsc.gov.in, within seven days of the key release.
- Representations sent by post or email receive no attention.
- Online representations made after 5:45 PM on the last date receive no attention.
The Interview Posts II notice also states that the final answer keys will be published only after the entire selection process is completed.
TNPSC CTSE Answer Key 2026 – What Is Different Between the Two Releases?
Three things change from one notice to the other, and mixing them up can cost you an objection:
- The last date. Each key has its own deadline, so a date from one notice does not apply to the other.
- The paragraph-based questions. The Interview Posts II key points to Questions 76 to 80 of Paper I, Part A, while the Non-Interview Posts key points to Questions 35 to 39. In both cases these questions are challenged with reference to the paragraph given above the first question of the group.
- The subject list. The two notices cover different subjects and subject codes, so always use the key for the exam you actually attempted.
