You can choose these skills as per your ethics and personality traits. Be as you will make you good person and loose some career perks. Being diplomatic may able to shift your career gears to the top but may decrease the credibility of your personality as you. If you can balance the above the dilemma effectively you are very good for a corporate life. If you can’t balance that dilemma, take a stand and take decision of choice.
Last but not least subject skills are important. These all skills can be developed by a layman. If a law student develops all these skills above and appear for a campus placement interview which recruits a mechanical engineer in a firm, will he survive the interview? No, absolutely not. The subject knowledge and subject upgradation are way more important than anything in a campus placement interview. So, nothing will stand alone as said above.
