VSCC Eligibility Criteria 2025 for Technician Draughtsman & Other Posts
- Educational Qualification: SSLC/SSC/10th Pass + ITI/NTC/NAC in relevant trade.
- For Pharmacist-A: First Class Diploma in Pharmacy.
- Age Limit: 18-35 years (As per govt rules).
- Physical Requirements: As per trade/job profile.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years (against reserved posts)
- Other eligible categories like departmental candidates, ex-servicemen, disabled defence personnel, meritorious sportspersons, and PWBDs are eligible for relaxation as per Government of India rules.

- PWBD Quota Adjustment:
Candidates appointed under the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) quota will be adjusted against vacancies in their respective categories — i.e., EWS, SC, ST, OBC, or Unreserved. Only those with at least 40% of the relevant disability are eligible for reservation and other applicable relaxations as per government rules. - Temporary Posts:

The selection process will consist of:
- Written Test, and
- Skill Test
(a) Written Test:
- Number of Questions: 80 multiple choice questions (MCQs)
(The syllabus will be based on the curriculum of the qualifying examination.) - Duration: 90 minutes
- Marking Scheme:

For UR & EWS categories: Minimum 32 marks out of 80

Shortlisting Ratio for Skill Test:
Candidates will be shortlisted for the skill test in a 1:5 ratio (with a minimum of 10 candidates) based on written test performance.
(b) Skill Test:

- Only candidates who qualify in the skill test will be considered for final selection, which will be based solely on written test marks.

NOC Requirements for Employed Applicants:
- Candidates employed in Central/State Government, Public Sector Units, or Autonomous Bodies must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of the skill test.
- Candidates who gain employment after submitting their online application must also produce a NOC at the time of the skill test.
- Failure to produce NOC will result in disqualification from the skill test.
Reservation Certificate Guidelines:
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer):
- Only those not belonging to the Creamy Layer will be eligible for reservation under the OBC category.
- Must upload a valid OBC certificate (as per Annexure-I) issued by the Competent Authority, valid as on 09.05.2025.
- Must clearly mention non-inclusion in the Creamy Layer.
- Certificates issued after 16.06.2025 will not be considered.
- Must also upload a self-declaration (as per Annexure-II) along with the certificate in a single file.
EWS (Economically Weaker Section):
- Candidates applying under EWS must upload an Income and Asset Certificate valid for the financial year 2025–26, issued by a Competent Authority, as per DOPT OM No.36039/1/2019-Estt(Res) dated 31.01.2019.
- This must also be presented at the time of the skill test.
- The gross annual family income must be calculated for the financial year 2024–25.
- Certificate must be in the format given in Annexure-III.
- If not compliant with guidelines, the claim for EWS reservation will not be accepted.
- If otherwise eligible, such candidates will be considered under General (UR) category only.
SC/ST Category:

Candidates claiming reservation under SC/ST must upload a valid certificate (as on 16.06.2025) in the prescribed format (Annexure-IV) issued by the Competent Authority, and must produce the original at the time of the skill test.
PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities):

Candidates claiming benefits under PwBD must upload a disability certificate issued by a Competent Authority, and produce it during the skill test.
Ex-Servicemen:

Candidates seeking relaxation under Ex-servicemen quota must upload and produce the relevant certificate issued by the Competent Authority at the time of the skill test.

VSSC 2025 Recruitment: Application Fees & Refund Policy Explained
- All applicants are required to pay ₹500/- per application, uniformly at the time of application.
- However, the following categories of candidates will receive a full refund of the application fee, provided they appear in the written test:
