The qualification of Driver cum Office Attendant (Medium / Heavy Passenger / Goods vehicle) notification for Kerala PSC recruitment are provided below.

1. A pass in standard VII or equivalent qualification.
2. Must hold current Motor Driving Licence to drive Light Motor Vehicles and Heavy Motor Vehicles with Driver’s Badge. Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Licence shall be of at least 3 years standing and in the case of Driving Licence published after 16.01.1979 separate endorsement to drive Heavy Duty Goods Vehicles and Heavy Duty Passenger Vehicles.
3. Medical Fitness: Should be medically fit as per the standards specified below :-
   1. Ear :- Hearing should be perfect
   2. Eye :-
      Distant vision :- 6/6 Snellen
      Near vision :- 0.5 Snellen
      Colour Vision :- Normal
      Night blindness :- Nil
   3. Muscles and Joints :- No Paralysis and all joints with free movements
   4. Nervous system :- Perfectly normal, free from any infectious diseases

Additional Notes For Kerala PSC Driver cum Office Attendant Recruitment:

1. Driving Licence shall be valid not only at the time of application but also at all levels of selection and appointment of the post.
2. Proficiency in driving Heavy Duty Vehicles is to be proved by a practical test held by the KPSC during the time of selection.
3. Medical Fitness Certificate acquired from a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon and a Medical Certificate concerning vision from an Ophthalmologist in Government Service in the specified format must be presented as and when called for by the Commission.
4. Physically handicapped persons are not allowed to apply for the post. Persons selected to the above post are needed to do the duties of Office Attendant also. Anyhow the present scale of pay and other allowances will remain the same.
   The prescribed form of medical certificates are given below.

How to Apply for the KPSC Driver cum Office Attendant Recruitment 2022:

• Candidates must register online as per “ONE TIME REGISTRATION” with the official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission ‘www.keralapsc.gov.in‘ before applying for the post. Candidates who have registered can apply by logging on to their profile using their User ID and password.
• Candidates must click on the ‘Apply Now’ button of the particular posts in the Notification Link to apply for the post.
• The Photograph sent should be the one clicked after 31.12.2012. Name of the candidate and the date of clicking the photograph should be printed clearly at the bottom part. The photograph once sent meeting all requirements shall be valid for 10 years from the date of uploading. Candidates making new profile on or after 01.01.2022 shall upload photograph taken within six months. There is no change in other instructions about the uploading of photographs.
• All correspondences with the Commission concerning the application should be accompanied with the printout of the applicant.
• No application fee is needed.
• Candidates shall take a printout of the application by clicking the link ‘My applications’ in their profile. All correspondence with the Commission about the application should be accompanied with the printout of the application.
• Candidates are accountable for the accuracy of the personal information and privacy of password. Before the final submission of the application on the profile, candidates must confirm the acuracy of the details on their profile. They must quote User-ID for further communication with the Commission. Application once presented is received as provisional and the details cannot be removed or changed after last date of receipt of applications.
• The application will be summarily denied if non-compliance with the notification is found during the time of processing. Documents to prove qualification, Experience, Community, Age, etc. have to be produced as and when called for.
• The profile correction made by the candidates themselves or in the office of the KPSC on request after the last date fixed for the receipt of applications will not be reflected in the application. Such corrections will come into effect only on the date on which corrections have been made.
• If a Written/ OMR/ Online Test is held as part of this recruitment, candidates shall present a confirmation on writing the examination through their one time registration profile. Such candidates alone can produce and download the admission tickets in the last 15 days till the date of test. The application of the candidates who do not submit confirmation within the given period will be denied instantly . The period concerning the submission of confirmation and availability of admission tickets will be declared in the examination calendar itself. Information in this regard will be given to the candidates in their respective profiles and the mobile phone number registered in it.
• Correct disciplinary action as per Rules of Procedure Rule 22 shall be taken against those candidates who submit applications with fake claims of qualification about education, experience etc. and submit confirmation for writing the examination, irrespective of whether they are present or absent for the examination.
• Candidates who have AADHAAR card should submit AADHAAR Card as I.D Proof in their profile.
