Institute of banking personnel selection (IBPS) is the recruiting official for all the banking posts. Every year they recruit for various positions such as PO, clerk, and SO posts in their participating banks. About 27 public sector banks are included in the participation. 1: What does the acronym "ATM" stand for in banking?
IBPS follows a three tier system in which preliminary exam is the first stage and a mains exam on the second stage and last an interview. Candidates have to qualify in the preliminary exam to write the mains exam. One who qualifies in the main exam will be called for an interview by the bank. In preliminary exam there are will be 100 questions and has three sections: quantitative, reasoning and English. Candidates should score section wise cutoff and a total cutoff. IBPS PO 2019 has introduced new section of descriptive paper in mains exam for testing the writing skills of the candidate. IBPS PO exam has a well-structured syllabus which includes quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and mental ability and English language.
