IBPS or Institute Of Banking Personnel Selection so far conducted various examinations every year ever since they started. The organization started in 2011. It is the striving organization for recruiting young and dynamic candidates in highly paid positions in their participating public sector banks. 27 public sector banks and RRBs are the participating organizations in IBPS common written examination (CWE). IBPS released the notification of CWE PO exam and its registration has already been started in the official website. Only online registration is available. IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2019
IBPS PO exam pattern 2019 has three sections as usual: preliminary exam, mains exam and an interview.
IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2019 (Prelims)
Preliminary exam is of total 100 marks with three test parts: Quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning and English language. Quantitative aptitude and reasoning questions will be asked for 35 marks each. 30 marks are for English language. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. Quantitative is for testing the arithmetic skill and reasoning is for testing mental ability. Candidates have to score section wise cutoff and a total cutoff in order to pass the exam. Then only they can write the main exam. Brief pattern of preliminary exam is shown below.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2019 (Mains)
IBPS PO mains exam pattern 2019 has introduced descriptive section for analyzing the writing skill of the candidates. It includes essay writing and letter writing of 25 marks and will be given 30 minutes for the section. Objective part of the exam consists of reasoning and computer aptitude, quantitative aptitude with mainly data analysis and interpretation questions, English language and general awareness. General awareness questions will be asked mainly from banking sector and economics.

IBPS PO Interview 2019
Those who qualify in mains exam will be called for a face-to-face interview. Interview process constitutes a total mark of 100. Candidates should score 40% for clearing the process. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD category candidates, 35% is the qualifying percentage.
IBPS has a well-structured syllabus for their examinations that includes all topics covered in each section.
