IBPS Clerk Syllabus 2018 is very much same as any other Bank Exam, with a preliminary exam and a mains examination. Both these examinations will be conducted bilingually i.e, in both English and in Hindi.

As usual, the prelims exam will have three sections. The sections you need to be an expert on to ace IBPS Clerk 2018 Preliminary Exam are:
- Reasoning
- Quantitative Aptitude
- English Language
The IBPS Clerk preliminary examination will be conducted online for a duration of 1 hour.

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will constitute of 190 questions that need to be completed in a time frame of 160 minutes.

There will be negative marking in both prelims and mains examination. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. There will not be any penalty for unattended or unanswered questions.
