Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) declared the IBPS 2019 Eligibility Criteria for the examination of Probationary Officer (PO) post.The candidates can apply online by visiting their official website. It is mandatory to read their instructions carefully before applying for the examination. The examination will be conducted in two sections- Preliminary and Mains. He/ she must go through the interview section to complete the recruitment procedure. IBPS ensures a basic salary for all its sections in which the PO may hold a remuneration of Rs-23,700 on average along with other allowances and perks. Eligibility Criteria for IBPS PO 2019
Candidates who wish to apply for IBPS PO post must have a Bachelor’s Degree. They should also go through preliminary and mains examinations as part of the eligibility for the recruitment process. The preliminary examinations are scheduled on 12th, 13th, 19th, and 20th of October, 2019. The mains examination is scheduled on 30th November 2019.
Age Criteria for IBPS PO 2019
The candidates who are applying for the IBPS PO must verify the age criteria of 20 years to 30 years. If the candidates are not in between 20 and 30 years of age the application will be considered as null and invalid. But certain candidates may receive age relaxation based on particular criteria. Candidates who are applying for the relaxation of age must provide their certificates and other documents at the time of their interview or any other recruitment procedure sections.
• SC/ ST (Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe) gets 5 years
• OBC (Other Backward Classes) gets 3 years
• PWD (Persons With any kind of Disabilities) gets 10 years
• Ex-Servicemen, Commissioned Officers get 10 years. But such candidates should have at least 5 years of military service.
• Candidates who had refugee in the J & K during the period from January 1st, 1980 to December 31st, 1989 gets 5 years
• Candidates affected by 1984 riots gets 5 years.

Academic Qualification for IBPS PO 2019
It is mandatory for the candidates to acquire a degree in any discipline from a recognized university with an average mark percentage. A valid grade card or mark sheet must be provided by the candidates. The relevant documents of qualification must be submitted to the interview board for further verification. Any mismatched found will be considered as false and thus results in cancellation. If the candidates receive a web-based certificate from their university, they are requested to submit the relevant original certificates.
There should be an average percentage of mark or grade for the candidates who are applying for the IBPS PO. The pass mark for the degree is considered valid and eligible for the IBPS PO position. If the total mark is in the percentage of CGPA/OGPA form, the candidates are requested to submit it in total percentage (with whole percentage for example 60.6) or grade. Thus with these eligibility criteria, candidates can make sure whether they are eligible or not for the post of IBPS PO.
Nationality/ Citizenship
TO apply for IBPS PO candidates must be a citizen of India or the subject of Nepal or Bhutan. Other categories included are The Tibetan refugees who settle in India permanently. The Indian citizens who migrated to different countries like Malawi, Zaire, Kenya, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Burma, and Pakistan intending to permanently reside back in India can also apply.
