Indian Bank Security Guard Selection Process 2022
The candidates who possess a valid commercial driving license for lightweight vehicles will have a higher preference when it comes to the selection. Other than this there are other tests that a candidate has to pass to secure their position in the firm. It is given in the notification that the bank has the power to modify the selection procedure to suit their circumstances. Indian Bank Security Guard Objective Exam Selection Procedure 2022
1: What does the acronym "ATM" stand for in banking?
- The candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1: 5 for participation in further selection procedures after the online objective examination.
- If two applicants get the same mark, then their position in the merit list will be decided by the seniority of their age.
- If a candidate passes this online objective examination then they will have to appear for a language test where their knowledge in the vernacular language will be put to test.
- This test will consist of 10 questions. each question will carry 1 mark.
- As mentioned above, the candidates having a driving license is given preference. They are awarded an extra 10 marks during the selection procedure.

Indian Bank Security Guard Physical Test Selection Procedure 2022
After the language test, the applicants have to appear for a final physical test. This consist of:

Indian Bank Security Guard Interview Selection 2022
There is no interview for the post of security guard for Indian Bank. But there is a document verification process and even a medical examination has the possibility of being conducted if the bank deems it wise. The candidates should, at the time of retirement from forces have a medical standard of Category A / Shape-I medical category or an equivalent. They should also be fit physical to carry out the duties allotted to the position of the Security Guard in the Indian Bank.
Documents Required during Verification
The candidate has to produce identity proof bearing a photo in the examination hall along with the call letter. The ID proof submitted should have the exact same name as printed in the call letter. They should also submit a photocopy of the exact same ID proof without which they may not be allowed to enter the exam hall. The identity of the candidate will be thoroughly checked with the details printed in the call letter, attendance list and other required documents. If there are any doubts regarding the identity of the candidate then they may not be allowed to appear for any phase of the selection procedure. If they have changed their name then they can prove their identity using:
- original Gazette notification
- original marriage certificate
- affidavit in original
documents other than then the ones listed above will not be accepted as valid ID proof. The following documents cannot be used for this purpose.

If the candidate has already been employed in service of Government / Quasi-Government Establishments and Public Sector Banks / Undertakings and is called for further proceeding after the passing the online objective examination, they will have to submit a “No Objection Certificate (NOC)” from their present employer. If the candidate is unable to submit the ‘NOC’, during the time of verification, then they will not be allowed to participate in further proceedings. They also have to submit a proper discharge certificate from their previous employer before they get their appointment in the Indian Bank.

Indian Bank Security Guard Allotment 2022
A merit list (maximum of 100 points) will be created by adding the scores from the objective type test (maximum of 40 points), the local language test (maximum of 10 points), the physical fitness test (maximum of 40 points), and the preference marks for having a valid commercial driver’s license for a light motor vehicle (maximum of 10 points). Furthermore, if two applicants receive the same score, they will be sorted according to their age seniority, with the older candidate receiving a higher rank.
