The Kerala Public Service Commission has announced anticipated vacancies in various government-owned companies and corporations. These include Kerala State Development Corporation for SC/ST, Forest Industries (Travancore) Limited, Handicraft Development Corporation of Kerala Limited, and Kerala State Construction Corporation Ltd.
The total number of vacancies is expected to vary, and candidates are advised to check official notifications for precise details. Applications are to be submitted online through the One Time Registration system on the Kerala PSC website.
Kerala PSC Accountant Grade 2 Eligibility Criteria 2025
Method of Appointment: Direct recruitment.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 36 years of age (born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007).
- OBC and SC/ST candidates get usual age relaxation.
- Provisional Hands in the concerned organizations get up to 5 years of relaxation based on provisional service, provided they were within the age limit on their first appointment. Certificates proving provisional service and non-regular status must be submitted. Overaged candidates using this relaxation will only be considered for vacancies in the organization where they served provisionally. Regular employees are not eligible for this concession.
- Other age relaxation rules are as per Para 2(i), (ii), (iii), (iv), (vi), (vii), and (xii) of General Conditions.
Educational Qualification:
- A B.Com degree from a recognized university is required.
- Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
- Ranked lists from this notification may be used to fill similar posts in other organizations with the same qualifications and pay scale.
- Government-recognized equivalent or higher qualifications are also acceptable. Relevant government orders must be produced when required.
Kerala PSC Accountant Grade 2 Selection Process 2025
- Written Test: Selection starts with a written test conducted by the Kerala PSC to evaluate candidates’ knowledge and suitability.
- Ranked List: Qualified candidates are included in a Ranked List valid for 1–3 years. Appointments are made from this list against reported vacancies. If a new Ranked List is published after one year, the old list will cease to be in force.
- Cancellation of Advice: The Commission can cancel any appointment advice issued by mistake. In such cases, the Appointing Authority may terminate the service within the probation period or 240 days from joining, whichever is earlier.
- Reservation: 4% of vacancies are reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates as per G.O.(P) No.5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023.
- Appointment: Final appointment is strictly based on the Ranked List and verification of eligibility and qualifications.
How to Apply for Kerala PSC Accountant Grade 2 Recruitment 2025
1. One Time Registration (OTR):
- All candidates must register through One Time Registration on the official Kerala PSC website: www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for any post.
- Candidates who have already registered can log in to their profile using their User-ID and Password.
2. Applying for the Post:
- After logging in, candidates must click the “Apply Now” button corresponding to the post in the Notification link.
- New Registrants: Candidates creating a fresh profile must upload a recent photograph taken within the last six months.

3. Information Accuracy and Submission:
- Candidates are responsible for the correctness of personal information and the secrecy of their password.
- Before final submission, ensure that all information in the profile is accurate, as applications cannot be deleted or altered after submission.
- Candidates are advised to keep a printout or soft copy of the submitted application for future reference.
- Printout can be taken from the “My Applications” section in the candidate profile.
- All correspondence with the Commission must be accompanied by a printout of the submitted application.
4. Aadhaar Card Requirement:

Candidates who have an Aadhaar Card should add it as their ID proof in their profile.
5. Examination Confirmation:
- If a Written/OMR/Online Test is part of the selection process, candidates must submit confirmation for appearing through their One Time Registration profile.
- Only candidates who submit confirmation can generate and download the Admission Ticket within the last 15 days before the test.
- Failure to submit confirmation within the stipulated period will lead to absolute rejection of the application.
- Periods for confirmation submission and availability of admission tickets will be published in the examination calendar and communicated via the candidate’s profile and registered mobile number.
6. Document Verification:
- Original documents to prove qualification, experience, age, community, etc., must be produced when called for.
- Applications will be summarily rejected if candidates fail to comply with the instructions in the notification.
