Kerala PSC Accountant Grade 2 Eligibility Criteria 2025

1. Method of Appointment:

• Selection will be through Direct Recruitment.

2. Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 36 years
• Candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible.

Age Relaxation:

• Other Backward Communities (OBC) and SC/ST candidates are eligible for the usual age relaxation.
• Provisional Hands: Candidates who have worked provisionally in the concerned companies/corporations/boards will be given age relaxation up to a maximum of 5 years from the upper age limit, based on the period of provisional service.

• • They must have been within the prescribed age limit on the date of their first appointment.

  • They need to provide a certificate showing the period of provisional service and confirming they were not in regular service.

  • Overaged candidates who become eligible based on provisional service will only be considered for vacancies in the company/corporation/board where they served provisionally.

• Regular employees of the concerned organization are not eligible for this provisional service relaxation.

3. Educational Qualifications:

• A pass in B.Com degree from a recognized university is required.

Additional Notes:

1. Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
2. Vacancies of similar posts in other Companies/Corporations/Boards having the same qualification and scale of pay may also be filled from the ranked list prepared from this notification.
3. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of the Government as equivalent to the prescribed qualification are also acceptable.
4. Any equivalent or higher qualification that presupposes the acquisition of the lower qualification for the post will also be considered sufficient.
5. Candidates must produce copies of government orders declaring equivalent or higher qualifications when requested by the Commission.
