Kerala PSC Accountant Grade 2 Eligibility Criteria 2025
Method of Appointment: Direct recruitment.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 and 36 years as of the notification dates. Only those born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 are eligible. Age relaxation applies for candidates from Other Backward Communities and SC/ST as per standard rules.
- Provisional Hands: Candidates who have worked as provisional employees in the concerned companies/corporations/boards are eligible for age relaxation up to 5 years, provided they were within the prescribed age limit at the time of their first provisional appointment. A certificate proving provisional service must be submitted when requested. Overaged candidates will only be considered for vacancies in the company/corporation/board where they worked provisionally.
- Regular Employees: No further age relaxation is granted for regular employees seeking appointment.
- Other Conditions: Additional relaxations are as per Para 2(i), (ii), (iii), (iv), (vi), (vii), and (xii) of the General Conditions of KPSC.
Educational Qualification:
- A B.Com degree from a recognized university is mandatory.
- Rule 10(a) ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
- Vacancies of similar posts in other government companies/corporations/boards with the same qualifications and pay scale will also be filled from the ranked list prepared under this notification.
- Equivalent Qualifications: In addition to the prescribed qualification, any equivalent or higher qualifications recognized by government executive/standing orders are also acceptable. Candidates must produce copies of such government orders when required.

The number of vacancies for the Kerala PSC Accountant Grade II and related posts are anticipated and will be filled based on the Ranked List prepared by the Commission. This list remains valid for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years, or until a new list is published, whichever is earlier.
Appointments may be canceled if made by mistake, with termination occurring within 240 days of joining or during probation. Additionally, 4% of the total vacancies are reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates as per G.O.(P) No.5/2023/SJD dated 01.10.2023.
Kerala PSC Accountant Grade 2 Selection Process 2025
The selection of candidates will be primarily through direct recruitment. Eligible applicants will be considered based on a written test. Following the written examination, document verification will be conducted to confirm educational qualifications, age, community certificates, and other eligibility criteria.

Probation Period
