Kerala PSC Accountant Grade 3 Shortlist 2025 Instructions
The Kerala Public Service Commission publishes a Probability List as part of the recruitment process, and all candidates included in the list must carefully follow the official instructions. The following points explain the general guidelines applicable to most Kerala PSC shortlists.
1. Provisional Inclusion in the Shortlist
The inclusion of register numbers in the Probability List is strictly provisional. All entries are subject to:
- Detailed application scrutiny
- Verification of eligibility
- Confirmation of documents
Being included in the shortlist does not guarantee placement in the final Ranked List.
2. Basis of Shortlist Preparation
The Probability List is prepared by selecting candidates who secured top marks in the OMR examination. A limited number of high-scoring candidates are included in the Main List, and additional candidates are added to Supplementary Lists to satisfy reservation rules for various communities and categories.
It ensures:
- Merit-based selection
- Compliance with reservation policies
- Fair representation of all eligible groups
3. One Time Verification (OTR) Requirements
All candidates included in the Probability List must attend One Time Verification (OTR) in person. During verification, candidates must produce:
- Original educational certificates
- Identity proof
- Caste/Community/NCL/EWS certificates (as applicable)
- Any other documents required by PSC
The date, time, and venue of OTR will be announced later through the official website and candidate profile.
4. Rechecking & Revaluation Rules
Kerala PSC does not permit revaluation of OMR answer scripts.
However:
- Candidates may apply for rechecking after the publication of the Ranked List.
- The procedure and fee details will be provided in the Ranked List notification.
- Copies of answer scripts will also be available on request after the approval of the Ranked List.
5. Certificate Requirements for Reservation Claims
Candidates claiming reservation benefits must produce valid certificates at the time of OTR, such as:
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for OBC categories
- Community Certificate issued by competent authorities for SC/ST categories
- EWS Certificate for candidates claiming Economically Weaker Section reservation
Failure to produce valid documents may result in cancellation of candidature.
6. Answer Script Status
As per the general PSC procedure, the answer scripts used for the OMR exam are processed and validated. If no answer scripts are invalidated, the same will be indicated in the shortlist notification.
