The Kerala PSC Assistant Information Officer Shortlist 2025 has been published for candidates who appeared in the Descriptive Examination. Candidates included in the shortlist should carefully note the following key points:

1. Provisional Inclusion

   • Inclusion of register numbers in the shortlist is provisional, subject to scrutiny and verification of the application.

   • Being included does not guarantee a place in the final Ranked List.

2. Basis of Shortlist

   • The shortlist is prepared based on eligible candidates who secured top marks in the Descriptive Examination.

   • Only the details provided in the application are considered; subsequent claims or corrections will not be entertained.

3. Main List & Supplementary List

   • The top candidates with the highest marks are included in the Main List.

   • For reservation purposes (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, etc.), a supplementary list is prepared including candidates from lower mark ranges, in order of merit.

4. One Time Verification (OTR) & Interview

   • Candidates must upload relevant documents in their profile and appear in person for One Time Verification and Interview.

   • Date, time, and venue will be announced later.

   • Failure to produce required documents within the prescribed time will result in deletion from the shortlist without further notice.

5. Revaluation and Rechecking

   • Revaluation and rechecking of answer scripts are not allowed.

   • Detailed instructions will be provided in the Ranked List notification.

6. Documents Required for Reservation Claims

   • OBC candidates: Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (as per G.O.(P) No.81/2009/SC/STDD dated 26.09.2009).

   • SC/ST candidates: Community Certificate (Form III or digitally signed) issued by a Revenue Authority not below Tahsildar.

   • EWS candidates: EWS Certificate (vide G.O(MS) No. 2/2020 P&ARD dated 12.02.2020) issued by the Village Officer.

   • All relevant documents must be submitted at the time of One Time Verification.

7. Answer Scripts

   • Scanned images and tabulation sheets of Descriptive Test answer scripts will be issued to candidates who apply and pay the prescribed fee after the approval of the Ranked List.

   • No candidate’s answer script has been invalidated for this post (Invalidation Notification No: ER OSM-2/5/2025-KPSC dated 29/09/2025).
