Kerala PSC Company Board Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2025

Candidates applying for posts like Junior Assistant, Cashier, Clerk Grade I, Assistant Grade II, Senior Assistant, Time Keeper Grade II, and Junior Clerk across Kerala Public Sector Companies and Boards must meet the following eligibility conditions:

1. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment.

2. Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 36 years, born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates inclusive). Age relaxations apply as follows:

• Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for standard age relaxation.
• Provisional hands working in any of the above Companies/Corporations/Boards are eligible for age relaxation up to 5 years beyond the upper age limit, provided they were within the prescribed age limit at the time of their first appointment. Regular employees are not eligible for this concession. Provisional candidates must provide a certificate specifying the period of provisional service and that they were not in regular service. Overaged candidates availing this relaxation are considered only for vacancies in the same organization where they worked provisionally.
• For further conditions on age relaxation, refer to Para 2 (i), (ii), (iii), (iv), (vi), (vii), and (xii) of the General Conditions.

3. Educational Qualifications:

• Candidates must possess a B.A., B.Sc., or B.Com. degree from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification.
• Qualifications recognized by Government executive or standing orders as equivalent to the prescribed degree are also acceptable. Proof of equivalence must be produced before the Commission when called.
• Candidates must ensure the caste/community mentioned in the application matches the SSLC certificate. Any discrepancy requires a Gazette notification along with a Non-Creamy Layer/Community Certificate during verification.

4. Important Notes:

• Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS&SSR applies.
• Disciplinary action will be taken under Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure 1976 against candidates making bogus claims regarding qualifications.

• Written Examination: The first stage is a written/online test; only those who qualify are shortlisted.
• Interview (if applicable): Shortlisted candidates for certain posts may attend an interview.
• Ranked List Validity: The Ranked List is active for 1 to 3 years; recruitment from it follows reservation and rotation rules. Candidates cannot select a particular company, board, or pay scale.
• Cancellation of Appointment: The Commission may cancel appointments made in error. Any service termination must happen within probation or 240 days from joining, whichever comes first.
