The Kerala Public Service Commission invites applications for the post of Last Grade Servant (LGS) under Category No: 423/2025 through Direct Recruitment. Candidates must ensure that they satisfy the following eligibility conditions before applying online through the Kerala PSC Thulasi portal.
1. Method of Appointment:
Selection to the post of Last Grade Servant will be made through Direct Recruitment. Eligible candidates can apply online using their One Time Registration profile on the official Kerala PSC website.
2. Age Limit:
Applicants must be between 18 and 36 years of age, i.e., candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates inclusive) are eligible to apply.
- OBC and SC/ST candidates are entitled to the usual age relaxation as per government norms.
- Provisional hands currently working in the respective Companies, Boards, or Corporations will receive age relaxation up to five years beyond the upper age limit, provided they were within the prescribed age at their first appointment.
- Regular employees of these concerns are not eligible for this relaxation.
- Provisional hands must obtain a service certificate specifying their provisional period and confirming they were not in regular service.
- Overaged candidates who qualify due to provisional service will be considered only for vacancies in the same Company/Corporation/Board where they served provisionally.

3. Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed Standard VII (7th Class) or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
- Knowledge of cycling is mandatory. However, women and differently abled candidates are exempted from this requirement.
4. Equivalent Qualification Rules:
In accordance with Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR, any qualification recognized as equivalent to the prescribed one by Government orders or Kerala PSC will also be accepted. Candidates should be able to produce copies of such Government orders declaring the equivalency when required by the Commission.
