The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has announced a total of 3 vacancies for the post of Engineering Assistant Grade III in the Kerala State Construction Corporation Ltd. This is a Special Recruitment exclusively for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities of Kerala.

SC/ST – 01 Vacancy:
This post is open to candidates belonging to either the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe category. Any eligible applicant from these two communities can apply for this position. -
ST Only – 02 Vacancies:
These two posts are reserved exclusively for Scheduled Tribe candidates. Only candidates from the Scheduled Tribe community of Kerala can apply for these vacancies.
The vacancies reported are existing and will be filled from the ranked list prepared by the Kerala PSC based on this notification. The ranked list will remain valid for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years, but it will expire earlier if a new list is published after the one-year period.
In addition, if more vacancies of this post are reported during the validity of the ranked list, they will also be filled from this same list. If no separate list for Scheduled Tribes is available at the time of advice, appointments to ST-only vacancies will also be made from this list. In case suitable ST candidates are not available, a fresh notification may be issued exclusively for ST candidates.

Kerala PSC Engineering Assistant Grade 3 Selection Process 2025
The Kerala PSC will recruit Engineering Assistant Gr III through a Written Test, followed by verification of certificates and an interview if needed. A ranked list of selected candidates will then be published, valid for 1 to 3 years. All appointments will be made from this list. Once appointed, candidates must serve a probation of two years within a continuous period of three years.

Recruitment is through Direct Recruitment, exclusively for SC/ST candidates. Applications from other communities will be rejected.
- Age: 18–41 years. Only those born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2007 are eligible. In the absence of qualified candidates, the upper age may be extended up to 50 years.
- Education: Candidates must hold either the Kerala Government Certificate in Civil Engineering, or the National Trade Certificate in Draftsman Civil, or an equivalent/higher qualification approved by Government Orders. Proof of equivalency must be produced if claimed.

Candidates must apply online through the Kerala PSC website (www.keralapsc.gov.in) using One Time Registration (OTR). Existing users can log in with their User ID & Password, while new users must create a profile. After login, select the post and click ‘Apply Now’.
- Upload a recent photo (within 6 months) with name & date printed at the bottom. It will remain valid for 10 years.
- Ensure profile details are correct before submission, as applications cannot be edited/deleted.
