Kerala PSC has announced anticipated vacancies for Junior Accountant and related posts across government-owned companies. The ranked list of selected candidates will be valid for 1–3 years, and appointments may be made from it as vacancies arise.

4% of posts are reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates (except Kerala Minerals & Metals Ltd). The Commission can cancel appointments made by mistake within 240 days or during probation.

Kerala PSC Junior Accountant 2025 Eligibility Criteria – Age, Qualification

Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment

Age Limit: 18–36 years (born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007). OBC/SC/ST candidates get usual age relaxation. Provisional hands in the concerned organizations may get up to 5 years extra beyond the upper limit if they were within the prescribed age at first appointment; regular employees are not eligible. Overaged provisional candidates are considered only for vacancies in their organization.

Educational Qualification: Pass in B.Com from a recognized University. Equivalent or higher qualifications recognized by Government orders are valid. Vacancies of similar posts in other companies/boards with the same qualification and pay scale will also be filled from this ranked list. Government orders confirming equivalency must be produced when required.

• Recruitment Method: Direct Recruitment based on merit and qualifications.
• Ranked List: Prepared by Kerala PSC; also used for similar posts in other companies/corporations with same pay scale.
• Probation: As per the Special Rules of the respective government-owned company/corporation/board.
• Validity of Ranked List: 1–3 years; candidates may be advised as vacancies arise.
• Cancellation: Appointments can be revoked within 240 days of joining or during probation if made in error.

How to Apply for Kerala PSC Junior Accountant Recruitment 2025

1. One Time Registration (OTR):

   • Candidates must register on the official Kerala PSC website – www.keralapsc.gov.in – before applying.

   • Those already registered can log in with their User ID and Password to apply through their profile.

   • New applicants must upload a recent passport-size photograph (taken within 6 months). The name of the candidate and date of photo taken must be clearly printed at the bottom. Once uploaded, a valid photograph remains usable for 10 years.

2. Application Process:

   • Log in to your PSC profile.

   • Click on “Apply Now” for the post listed under the notification.

   • Ensure all personal and academic details are accurate before submission. Once submitted, applications cannot be altered or deleted.

   • No application fee is required.

3. Submission Guidelines:

   • Applications must be submitted online on or before 15.10.2025 (Wednesday, up to 12 midnight).

   • Candidates should keep a printout or soft copy of their application for future reference. This can be downloaded from the “My Applications” section in the profile.

   • All communication with the Commission must be accompanied by this printout.

4. Special Instructions:

   • In case of mismatch between Caste/Community claimed in the application and that in the SSLC book, a Gazette Notification along with valid Community/Non-Creamy Layer Certificate must be produced at verification.

   • Candidates must carefully read the General Conditions in the notification before applying. Applications not in line with these rules will be rejected.

   • Applicants with an Aadhaar Card should add it as an ID proof in their profile.

   • If a Written/OMR/Online Test is conducted, candidates must confirm their participation through their PSC profile within the stipulated period. Only then can they generate the Admission Ticket (available in the last 15 days before the test).

5. Disqualification & Disciplinary Action:

   • Applications containing false information about qualifications or experience will be summarily rejected.

   • Candidates submitting bogus claims may face disqualification, debarment, annulment of answer scripts, dismissal from service, or criminal proceedings under Rule 22 of Kerala PSC Rules of Procedure.
