Kerala PSC Junior Accountant Eligibility Criteria 2025
1. Method of Appointment:
The recruitment will be through Direct Recruitment.
2. Age Limit:
Candidates must be between 18 and 36 years of age. Only those born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible.

Age Relaxation:

Candidates belonging to Other Backward Communities (OBC) and SC/ST categories are eligible for the standard age relaxation as per government norms.

Provisional hands working in the concerned organizations may receive age relaxation up to 5 years beyond the upper limit, depending on their provisional service, provided they were within the prescribed age at their first appointment.

Provisional hands must provide a certificate showing their service period and confirming they were not regular employees.

Overaged candidates who qualify through provisional service will only be considered for vacancies in the company/corporation/board where they served provisionally.

Regular employees of the organizations are not eligible for this concession.

For other age relaxation conditions, candidates should refer to Para 2(i), (ii), (iii), (iv), (vi), (vii), and (xii) of the General Conditions in the official Gazette Notification.
3. Educational Qualifications:
- A candidate must have a pass in B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) from a recognized University.
- Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
- Vacancies of similar posts in other companies/corporations/boards having the same qualification and similar pay scale will also be filled from the ranked list prepared through this notification.
- In addition to the prescribed qualification, equivalent or higher qualifications recognized by Government executive or standing orders are also considered valid. Candidates must produce a copy of the Government order declaring the qualification as equivalent or higher when requested by the Commission.
- Qualifications that presuppose the lower qualification for the post are also acceptable.
Kerala PSC Junior Accountant 2025 Vacancy
Kerala PSC has released anticipated openings for Junior Accountant and related accounts roles in various government companies. The ranked list of selected candidates will remain active for 1 to 3 years, and appointments will be made as vacancies arise. 4% of positions are reserved for eligible Differently Abled candidates, except in Kerala Minerals & Metals Ltd. Any appointment made in error can be cancelled within 240 days or during the probation period.

How to Apply for Kerala PSC Junior Accountant 2025
- Register through One Time Registration on www.keralapsc.gov.in.
- Existing users can log in with their User ID & Password and click “Apply Now” for the post.
- New candidates must upload a recent photo (with name & date) – valid for 10 years.
- No application fee required.
- Applications must be submitted online by 15.10.2025 (midnight).
- Keep a print/soft copy from “My Applications” for future reference.
- Add Aadhaar as ID proof in profile.
- For Written/OMR/Online Test, confirm participation in profile to download Admission Ticket.
- Incorrect or bogus claims may lead to rejection, disqualification, or disciplinary action.
