The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has recently published the list of shortlisted candidates who have been selected for the next round of the Junior Hydrogeologist recruitment process for the year 2024. The Kerala Public Service Commission has released the Junior Hydrogeologist Shortlist 2024 on January 16, 2024. This list contains the Register Numbers of candidates who are provisionally eligible to be called for an interview, subject to the verification of their original documents. This selection is for the post of Junior Hydrogeologist – STATEWIDE (Category No. 390/2021) in the Ground Water Department, with a salary of Rs. 51,400-1,10,300/-, based on the Online Examination held on 20-06-2023. Candidates who are included in the Short List must present and produce their original documents for One-Time Verification in person. Kerala PSC Junior Hydrogeologist 2024: Cut-off
The following information is regarding the Online Examination results. The Short List includes 30 candidates who have secured the highest marks in the examination. The last candidate in the Main List secured 58 marks. To fulfill the reservation rules of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and other reserved categories (if any), a Supplementary list will be prepared. This list will include candidates from lower mark ranges in order of merit. Candidates included in the Short List are required to present and produce the original documents for One Time Verification in person. The date, time, and venue of OTR Verification will be published shortly.

- Inclusion of Register Numbers in this list is purely provisional subject to scrutiny and admission of application on absolute basis. Inclusion of Register numbers in the Short List does not confer any right on the candidate for inclusion in the Ranked List.
- 30 ( Thirty ) candidates who have secured top most marks in the Online Examination are included in the Main List of this Short list. The marks secured by the last candidate in the Main List is 58 (Fifty Eight). For the purpose of satisfying the rules of reservation of appointment to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes (and other reserved categories if any) necessary Supplementary list is prepared by including sufficient numbers of candidates from lower mark ranges in the order of merit of the candidates belonging to such classes.
- Candidates included in the Short List should present and produce in person the original documents for One Time Verification. Date,time and Venue of OTR Verification will be published shortly.
- Candidates included in the Short List ,eligible for reservation are required to produce Non Creamy Layer Certificate as per G.O.(P) No. 81/09/SC/ST/DD dated 26.09.2009 / Community Certificate issued by the Revenue authority/EWS Certificate in the prescribed format,if applicable and shall produce the same along with the other documents at the time of verification of original documents.
- For Online Examination, rechecking and revaluation are not allowed but printout of answer sheets will be issued to those candidates who apply for it by remitting the prescribed fee after the publication of Ranked List. Detailed instructions will be furnished in the Ranked List to be published for the post.
