Kerala PSC LSGD Tracer Vacancy 2026 – District-Wise Vacancy Details
As per Kerala PSC Notification No. 633/2025, the total vacancies for the post of Tracer in the Local Self Government Department are announced on a district-wise basis. The reported vacancies are:
- Thrissur – 02 (Two) Vacancies
- Wayanad – 01 (One) Vacancy
Candidates must carefully select the district while submitting the online application, as applications are accepted for only one district.
District-Wise Ranked List & Vacancy Validity
Kerala PSC will prepare separate ranked lists for each district based on this notification. The ranked list will remain valid for a minimum of one year and may continue up to three years or until a new list is published, whichever is earlier. Candidates will be advised not only against the notified vacancies but also against any future vacancies reported during the validity of the ranked list.
If no candidate is advised within three years, the ranked list may be extended for one additional year or until at least one candidate is appointed.
Revenue District-Based Selection Process
The Kerala PSC Tracer selection will be conducted on a revenue district basis as per government orders. A candidate appointed in one district is not eligible for transfer to another district until completing five years of continuous service. Transfer after five years will be subject to existing Kerala Government rules.
Candidates already working as Tracer in any district under Government service are not eligible to apply again for the same post but can apply for higher posts when notified.

Candidates applying for Kerala PSC Tracer Recruitment 2025 (Category No. 633/2025) must satisfy the official eligibility criteria prescribed by the Commission. The post under the Local Self Government Department (LSGD) will be filled through Direct Recruitment.
Age Limit Criteria
The prescribed age limit for Kerala PSC Tracer is 18 to 36 years. Only candidates born between 02 January 1989 and 01 January 2007 (both dates included) are eligible to apply.
- OBC candidates are eligible for age relaxation as per Kerala Government rules.
- SC/ST candidates are also eligible for usual upper age relaxation.
