Kerala PSC PWD Overseer Grade 3 Civil Eligibility Criteria 2025
Candidates applying for the PWD Overseer Grade 3 (Civil) post under Category No: 222/2025 must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Method of Appointment
- Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates only).
- Note: Applications from candidates other than SC/ST will be rejected without individual notice.
Age Limit
- Candidates must be 18 to 41 years of age.
- Only those born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2007 (both dates inclusive) are eligible.
- Relaxation: In the absence of qualified candidates, the upper age limit may be relaxed up to 50 years, but not beyond that under any circumstance.
Educational Qualifications
Pass in SSLC examination or equivalent.
Plus any one of the following technical qualifications:

Kerala PSC PWD Overseer Grade 3 Civil Vacancy 2025
As per the official notification, the Kerala PSC PWD Overseer Grade 3 (Civil) Recruitment 2025 has announced 2 vacancies under the Special Recruitment for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates. The ranked list prepared through this recruitment will remain valid for a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years, unless a new list is published earlier.
Appointments will be made from this ranked list not only for the current vacancies but also for any additional vacancies reported during its validity. In the case of vacancies reported exclusively for Scheduled Tribes, they will also be filled from this list unless a separate ranked list or selection process is in place. If no suitable ST candidate is available in the list, a separate notification for ST-only recruitment will be released.

Selection Process
Candidates applying for the PWD Overseer Grade 3 (Civil) post will undergo the following stages of selection:

Probation Period
Every candidate appointed to this post will be on probation for a total period of two years, which must be completed within a continuous period of three years from the date of joining duty. During this time, the appointee’s performance and conduct will be closely monitored.
Submitting Application –Kerala PWD Overseer Grade 3 Recruitment 2025
Candidates must first complete One Time Registration (OTR) on the official Kerala PSC website www.keralapsc.gov.in before applying for the post. Registered users can log in using their User ID and Password, then click the ‘Apply Now’ button on the relevant notification.
When uploading a photograph, ensure the name and date of the photo are clearly printed at the bottom. The photo must be taken within the last 6 months and will be valid for 10 years. Avoid creating multiple profiles — doing so may result in disqualification.
There is no application fee. Candidates are fully responsible for the accuracy of the details in their profile and must double-check all information before final submission, as applications cannot be edited or deleted afterward.
It is recommended to save or print the submitted application for future reference (via the ‘My Applications’ tab). Any correspondence with the Commission should include this printout. All original documents proving age, caste, qualifications, and experience must be produced when called for.

Kerala PSC PWD Overseer Grade 3 Salary 2025
- Salary: ₹26,500 – ₹60,700 per month (as per government pay scale)
In addition to the basic pay of ₹26,500 – ₹60,700, selected candidates will be eligible for other admissible allowances as per government norms. These include Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Travel Allowance (TA), among others. The total monthly salary may vary based on posting location and department policies.

Caste/Community Verification:
In case of any discrepancy between the caste/community mentioned in the application and the one recorded in the SSLC certificate, candidates must produce a Gazette Notification along with a valid Community Certificate at the time of certificate verification.
