Kerala PSC Veterinary Surgeon Grade II Salary
The post of Veterinary Surgeon Grade II under the Kerala government is one of gazetted officer. The salary for this post falls in the range of Rs. 55,200 to Rs. 1,15,300. The average salary for a veterinary surgeon in Kerala whose experience ranges from one to seven years is Rs. 6.6 lakhs per year. Veterinary Surgeon’s salary at Government Of Kerala ranges between Rs. 5.5 Lakhs to Rs. 8.5 Lakhs per annum. The salary depends on the skills, the hospital one is working for, work experience etc.
The Veterinary Surgeons are responsible for the medical and surgical treatment of a range of animals. They also manage anesthesia during procedures and work to prevent diseases and spread of diseases in animals. They carry out investigative procedures to diagnose diseases and disorders.

Allowances
Apart from the basic salary Veterinary Surgeons under Kerala government are entitled to receive allowance. The various allowances are:

The percentage of these allowances are calculated based on their grade. The Dearness Allowance is based on the Consumer Price Index of the Indian Government. The inflation rate of the country and dearness allowance are directly proportional. It will also depend upon the place of posting. Veterinary Surgeons are also eligible for medical benefits and other additional benefits.
The rate of HRA will be as percentage of basic pay. It will also depend of the place of posting. The state is divided into four different classes and HRA will be based on these classes. The class wise percentage is as follows:
