Candidates should ensure that they fulfil the criterias for  qualifications and age as provided in the notification. Candidates, who do not fulfil the eligibility criteria, will be eliminated at any stage during the recruitment process. Candidates applying for the post of Clerk should hold a Graduation or Post Graduation Degree with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University/Institute. If the University has awarded CGPA / GPA score to the candidate, the percentage marks shall be calculated by dividing the total marks obtained in all the subjects in all the semesters by aggregate maximum marks in all the subjects.Knowledge of Computer Operations is must for a candidate applying for the clerical post. Candidates having 1-2 years’ experience in banking/ financial/ institutions/ NBFCs will be given more preference.

The Nainital Bank is one of the most reputed organisations for banking. It is the only scheduled commercial bank of Uttarakhand. The successful candidates in the written test will be called for an interview. Selection of the candidates is done based on the online written test and interview. Appointment letters will be then issued to the selected candidates to join for officer or Clerical post. The Nainital Bank Clerk post has the responsibilities such as verification of documents, updating the customer passbooks, handling and attending to treasury works and resolving grievances and attending queries of the bank customers.
