The probationary officer in State Bank of India is better than the Probationary officer in other Bank. RBI Assistant exam is conducted by the Reserve Bank of India.Recently, the RBI Assistant notification 2020 has been released for 926 vacancies. When you enter RBI as a fresher, you get to join two posts which are RBI Assistant and RBI Officer. For these posts, RBI Recruitment takes place at different levels. In RBI, there are six grades for Class-I employees which are grade ‘A’ to Grade ‘F’. The most senior posts are of Grade F which are of Governor and Deputy Governor. The RBI Assistants are also referred to as ‘Class-III employees’ which include senior assistant, special assistant, assistant, record clerk, attendant, security guard, etc.

Penalty for Wrong Answers: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every answer attempted wrong by a candidate. No deduction will be made for the question left blank or unattempted by a candidate.
Language Proficiency Test (LPT)
The candidates provisionally shortlisted from the main on-line examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the Official / Local Language of the State concerned as detailed below. Candidate who are not proficient in the official/ Local Language will be disqualified.

SBI PO VS RBI Assistant: Salary
SBI PO
At present, the starting basic SBI PO salary is Rs 27,620 (with 4 advance increments). The pay scale for Junior Management Grade Scale I is 23700-980/7-30560-1145/2-32850-1310/7- 42020. Candidates are also eligible for DA, HRA/Lease rental, CCA, Medical and other allowances. The total compensation per annum on CTC basis is Rs 8.20 lakhs (minimum) and Rs 13.08 lakhs (maximum) depending on the place of posting. SBI also offer a SMART Compensation Package which enables candidates a choice to monetize specific elements of the salary package.
RBI Assistant
Candidates after selection will draw a basic pay of ₹ 14650/- per month (i.e. ₹ 13150 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates) in the scale of 13150-750 (3)-15400- 900(4) -19000-1200(6)-26200-1300 (2)-28800- 1480(3) – 33240 – 1750 (1)- 34990 (20 years).
