TNPSC CTSE Interview Posts Salary 2026: Level 22 Pay Range
Level 22 is the pay level for 157 of the 170 vacancies, so it decides the salary most candidates will receive. In the Tamil Nadu Pay Matrix, Level 22 runs from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500 basic pay per month.
- A newly appointed candidate starts at the entry cell of the level, which is ₹56,100 basic pay, subject to the pay fixation rules.
- Basic pay then rises through the cells of the pay matrix as you earn annual increments, up to the maximum of the level.
- Allowances are paid on top of basic pay (see below), so the in-hand salary is higher than ₹56,100.
Salary for the higher levels
The notification gives only the level number for Levels 23, 25, 27, 28 and 30, and the rupee amounts come from the Tamil Nadu Pay Matrix (Schedule III of the Tamil Nadu Revised Pay Rules, 2017). These levels carry higher entry pay than Level 22, in the order: Level 23 < Level 25 < Level 27 < Level 28 < Level 30. Refer to the pay matrix or the Tamil Nadu Finance Department orders for the exact amounts.
