1: Between the period of 1858-1947, how many Viceroys ruled over India?

Qualification Details
- Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Naval Architecture, Civil, Information Technology:
- Degree in Engineering with at least 65% marks in the relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- For IT: A Master’s degree in IT/Computer Applications is also acceptable, with valid certifications being desirable.
- Human Resource:
- Postgraduate degree in HR, Personnel Management, Social Work, or related fields with at least 65% marks.
- Finance:
- Must have passed the final examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
Age Limit Details
- Maximum age: 27 years as of 6th January 2025.

Salary Details
- During training: Consolidated monthly stipend of ₹50,000.
- Post-training: Pay Scale – ₹40,000–₹1,40,000 per month (E1 Grade), with additional allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Perks. The annual CTC is approximately ₹14 lakhs.
Cochin Shipyard Executive Trainee Exam Pattern 2025
The Cochin Shipyard Executive Trainee exam pattern gives insight to candidates to prepare for the examination according to the marking scheme prescribed by the officials. The examination will be held in two phases that are computer-based examination followed by the Interview along with Group Discussion (GD), Writing Skills, and Personal Interviews.
Computer-Based Examination
- The examination will be of a total of 60 Objective-type questions (MCQs), holding 60 marks.
- The duration of the examination will be 60 minutes.
- Each question carries one mark.
- There will be no negative marking in the examination

Cochin Shipyard CSL Executive Trainee Selection Process 2024
The selection process for the Cochin Shipyard Executive Trainee Recruitment 2024 is designed to ensure a fair and comprehensive evaluation of candidates’ skills and potential. Here’s how it works:
Phase I: Online Test
This is a one-hour objective test with 60 multiple-choice questions, covering:
- General Awareness (5 marks)
- English Language (5 marks)
- Numerical Ability (5 marks)
- Reasoning Ability (5 marks)
- Subject Knowledge (40 marks)
Each question carries one mark, and there’s no negative marking, making it a stress-free opportunity to showcase your knowledge.
Phase II: Group Discussion, Writing, and Interview
Shortlisted candidates move to the second phase, which evaluates communication and analytical skills through:
- Group Discussion (10 marks)
- Writing Skills Test (10 marks)
- Personal Interview (20 marks)
Together with Phase I, this brings the total score to 100 marks.
Who Qualifies?
To qualify, candidates must meet these minimum scores:
- General/EWS: 50%

Test Locations & Final Steps
The online test will be held at centers across Kerala, and shortlisted candidates will attend the final round at CSL, Kochi. Certificate verification will be done before Phase II to ensure eligibility.
Tie-Breakers
If two candidates score the same in the final ranking, the tie will be resolved based on marks in the subject-specific test. If still tied, the older candidate takes the higher rank.
