About the Role

Eligibility & Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with front-end, web, or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in one or more relevant front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Thymeleaf, jQuery, etc.
• Ability to articulate the benefits and challenges of depending on front-end libraries, frameworks, and tool-sets.
• Experience building scalable, distributed, front-end experiences.
• Experience building reusable UX components or libraries.
• Proficient in common UX patterns.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to evaluate the risks and benefits of using front-end libraries, frameworks, and tool-sets for a given problem space.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity.
• Proficiency in testing front-end applications and automated browser testing.
• Interest in learning about latest technologies and building compelling web applications and UI.
• Knowledge of computer science fundamentals (e.g., data structures & algorithms, OO design).
