Important Notes – Kerala PSC Administrative Assistant Shortlist 2026
1. Provisional Nature of the Shortlist
Inclusion of register numbers in the shortlist is purely provisional and subject to detailed scrutiny and acceptance of applications. Being listed in the shortlist does not guarantee inclusion in the final Ranked List or selection for the post.
2. Basis of Shortlist Preparation
The shortlist has been prepared based on the top marks secured by candidates in the OMR Examination conducted on 17 January 2026 for the Administrative Assistant post in the Kerala Police Department.
3. Main List and Cut-Off Marks
A total of 20 candidates with the highest marks in the OMR examination are included in the Main List of the shortlist. The cut-off mark of the last candidate in the Main List is 53 marks.
To comply with reservation rules for the Scheduled Tribes community, a Supplementary List has also been prepared by including eligible candidates from lower mark ranges based on merit within those categories.
4. One Time Verification (OTR)
Candidates included in the shortlist must appear in person for One Time Verification (OTR) and produce their original documents. The date, time, and venue for the verification process will be announced later by Kerala PSC.
5. Revaluation and Rechecking
As per the existing Kerala PSC procedure, revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed. However, candidates can apply for rechecking of answer scripts after the publication of the Ranked List. Detailed instructions will be provided along with the Ranked List notification.
6. Community Certificate Requirement
Candidates in the shortlist must produce a valid Community Certificate issued under Rule 4 of the Kerala (SC/ST) Regulations of Issue of Community Certificate Rules, 2002. The certificate must be issued by a Revenue Authority not below the rank of Tahsildar at the time of OTR verification.
7. Copy of OMR Answer Script
Candidates who wish to obtain a copy of their OMR answer script from the examination conducted on 17 January 2026 can apply after the Ranked List is approved by remitting the prescribed fee.
