Kerala PSC Assistant Eligibility Crietria 2025 – Age, Qualification

1. Method of Appointment:

• Direct Recruitment.

2. Age Limit:

• 18 to 36 years.
• Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates inclusive) are eligible.
• Relaxation: Usual age relaxations apply for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Communities (OBC).
• For other conditions regarding age relaxation, candidates should refer to Part-II, Para 2 of the General Conditions of the Gazette notification.

3. Educational Qualifications:

• Essential: A Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a UGC-recognized University, National Institute established by the Government of India, or institutes established by the Government of Kerala, or an equivalent qualification.
• Desirable: Degree in Law.

4. Notes on Qualifications:

• Note (a): The term “Degree” refers to a Bachelor’s Degree as defined above.
• Note (b): Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of the Government as equivalent to the specified qualifications in the Special Rules, or accepted by the Commission where equivalent qualifications are allowed, are also sufficient. Copies of government orders declaring equivalence must be produced when called for.
• Note (c): KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.

• The recruitment is based on anticipated vacancies, and the exact number will be reported by the Commission as and when available.
• The ranked list prepared by the Kerala Public Service Commission in response to this notification will remain in force for a minimum of one year and up to three years or until a new list is published, whichever is earlier.
