Candidates on the Kerala PSC Junior Scientific Officer Rank List 2026 should keep these points in mind:
Validity of the Rank List
The ranked list stays in force until a new ranked list is published after a minimum of one year, or until three years from publication, whichever is earlier.
Points to remember:
- Appointments are advised according to the rules on reservation and rotation, as amended from time to time.
- Advice depends on vacancies reported to the Commission while the list is in force.
- There is no guarantee that every listed candidate will get an appointment.
- Candidates still on the list when it is cancelled have no claim to appointment because their name was included.
Answer Sheet Printout
Since this was an online examination, rechecking and revaluation are not allowed. Candidates who want a printout of their answer sheet must follow these rules:
- Apply online through your One Time Registration (OTR) profile on www.keralapsc.gov.in.
- Pay the prescribed fee of Rs. 335 through the e-payment option on the portal.
- You have 15 days from the date the ranked list is uploaded. The last date is on or before 13.11.2026.
- Applications by email, tappal (post) or in person will not be accepted.
- A copy of the answer sheet is issued only once to a candidate.
Community Details and Corrections
The entries in column (9) of the ranked list are based on the community stated in your application and proved with documents.
If your community is wrongly recorded:
- Inform the Deputy Secretary (Examinations), Kerala Public Service Commission, Thiruvananthapuram, 695004.
- Do this within one month of the date of publication of the ranked list.
- If you do not report errors in time, you will be advised for appointment as the list stands, which may affect your reservation benefit.
Relinquishment of Claim
Candidates who do not want to be advised from the ranked list can relinquish their claim as follows:
- Apply in the prescribed KPSC format, available on the official website.
- Address it to The Secretary, Kerala Public Service Commission, Head Office, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram – 4.
- The application must be attested by a Gazetted Officer of the State or Central Government, with signature, name, designation and office seal.
- Attach a notarized affidavit and a self-attested copy of a photo ID proof from the list in the General Conditions.
- Requests that are not in the prescribed format will not be honoured under any circumstances.
- Requests received within 15 days of publication will be honoured against vacancy requisitions pending with the Commission up to finalisation of the list.
- After that, a request is considered only if it is received on or before the date the vacancy is received, based on which the candidate would be advised.
