Kerala PSC Shortlist List 2025: Key Highlights & Next Steps
The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has released the Probability List for the latest recruitment, marking a significant step towards the final selection process. However, it’s important to note that inclusion in this list is purely provisional and does not guarantee placement in the Ranked List. Let’s break down the key aspects of this announcement.
1. Provisional Inclusion
Being listed in the Probability List is based solely on the details provided in the application. It is not a final selection but an initial shortlisting. Candidates must undergo further scrutiny, and any subsequent claims will not be entertained at later stages.
2. Main List & Cut-off Marks
There will be a main list of candidates who secured the highest marks in the Common OMR Examination have been included in the Main List. The last candidate will be the cut off score. In addition, a Supplementary List has been prepared to ensure reservation norms are met for categories such as Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
3. Document Verification
Candidates in the Probability List must attend the One-Time Registration Verification (OTRV) in person. The details regarding the date, time, and venue will be communicated through the candidate’s profile and SMS notifications.
For verification, candidates must present:
- SC/ST Candidates – Community Certificate (Form III/Digitally Signed) issued by competent Revenue Authority.
- OBC Candidates – Non-Creamy Layer Certificate issued by the Village Officer (as per G.O(P) No 81/2009/SCSTDD dated 26.09.2009).
- EWS Candidates – EWS Certificate in the prescribed format (as per GO(MS) No 02/2020/P&ARD dated 12/02/2020).
Failure to produce these documents will lead to disqualification.
4. Revaluation & Answer Script Rechecking
As per KPSC rules, revaluation of answer scripts is not permitted. However, candidates can apply for rechecking after the publication of the Ranked List. Further details regarding this process will be provided in the Ranked List notification.
Additionally, candidates can request a copy of their OMR answer scripts by submitting an application and remitting the prescribed fee after the Ranked List is published.
5. Invalidation & Important References
Candidates whose register numbers have been invalidated should refer to the official notification (ER 7-1/13/2024-KPSC dated 22.11.2024) issued by the Secretary, KPSC, for further details.
