- 18-36: Only candidates born between 02/01/1987 and 01/01/2005 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for the post with usual age relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities.

- Graduation from a recognized university, National institutes established by the Central Government or Institutions established by the Government of Kerala
Points to be Noted
- It is applicable to follow Rule 10(a) (ii) of Part II KS & SSR in the LSGS Recruitment notice.
- Apart from the requirements listed in the notification, the qualifications recognized as equal to the post’s requirements by executive orders or standing orders of the government, the Special Rules, and those qualifications that require the attainment of the post’s lower requirements will also be sufficient for the position. The copy of the government orders stating equivalent or higher credentials must be provided to the Commission upon request.
The degrees and diplomas granted by UGC-approved universities and institutions created by acts of parliament or state legislative assemblies that meet the requirements outlined in G.O. (M.S.) No.526/PD dated July 17, 1965, are acceptable for.

Kerala PSC LSGS Recruitment 2024: Special Instructions to Candidates
- At the time of certificate verification, the candidate must present a Gazette notice if there is a discrepancy between the caste or community they declared in their application and the one recorded in the SSLC book. They must also present a Non Creamy Layer Certificate or Community Certificate.
- Before submitting an application for the position, candidates must familiarize themselves with the guidelines provided in Part II, General Conditions of the notification. Applications that are not presented in compliance with the General Conditions’ terms and conditions may be rejected.
- According to Rule 22 of the Kerala Public Service Commission Rules of Procedure, candidates who submit applications with false claims of qualification regarding their education, experience, etc. will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action, which could include the following: being disqualified from consideration for a particular post; being permanently barred from applying to the Commission; having their answer scripts or products from a written or practical test invalidated; being the subject of criminal or other proceedings; being removed from office; or being ordered to face any other disciplinary action if they have already been appointed.
