Educational Qualification
- A Degree in Mechanical or Marine or Automobile Engineering or Naval Architecture from a recognized University.
Age Limit
- 18 to 36 years
- Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post
- SC/ST and OBC candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation.
Experience Required
- Five years experience in maintenance of Marine/Automobile/Diesel engine and accessories from an institution recognized by Government

The Kerala State Water Transport Department Mechanical Engineer selection process includes the written/online/OMR exam following the document verification.
