The job profile for the SIDBI Grade A officer 2022 is as follows:
- Employees who joins the post will have to undergo a 2 year probation period (can be extended up to 4 years). During this period, candidates will be able to gain an understanding on the duties and functioning of banking in relation to their respective profile.
- The SIDBI Assistant Manager’s basic duties include: (i) Clerical work supervision (ii) Loan processing (iii) Practical knowledge on the functioning of banks and its aspects (iv) Customer services (ranging from opening account to printing passbook) etc.
- The SIDBI Assistant Managers are given training during probation period in the fields such as: (i) Advances (ii) Retail Banking (Personal) (iii) Rural Banking (Agriculture training) etc.
- Once the selection is done, the SIDBI Grade A officer meets the Regional Manager of the circle and is sent directly to the allotted branch.
- Employees are given specialized training during the period of probation.
- A screening procedure has to be undergone by SIDBI Grade A office after the probation period to qualify to the post of Officer Middle Management Grade Scale – II.
An SIDBI Assistant Manager is expected to conduct all these tasks assigned, hence the position is much demanding and versatile in its role.
