SIB also follows a set pattern for its online test. SIB probationary officers 2022 recruitment process will have the following phases as mentioned below-

2. Interview
The first phase of the selection process will be a single-level online test that will contain objective-type questions which will further be followed by a Personal Interview. The initial shortlisting will be done based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the Online Test. The final selection will be based on the combined score obtained by the candidates in the Online Test and Interview.
Online Test Pattern
The first stage of South Indian Bank PO 2022 recruitment will consist of an online objective type test which will consist of questions from four sections namely: Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General / Economy / Banking Awareness, English Language, and Data Analysis & Interpretation. There will be 40 questions in each section and all sections will carry 50 marks each. Therefore the total number of questions will be 160 and the total marks will be 200.
- 2 hours and 20 minutes will be allotted for the online test.
- All the sections will have separate timing of 40 minutes each, except the General Awareness section which will be allotted only 20 minutes.
- Aspirants need to be careful due to the penalty of 1/4th mark. This means that for every wrong answer, 1/4th of the marks allotted to that question will be deducted.

Personal Interview
All the aspirants who manage to qualify in the first stage of the SIB Probationary Officers online test will be shortlisted based on their scores for the next level of the Personal Interview. The final selection will depend on the consolidated marks obtained in the two stages of the selection process which are Online Test & Interview.
Marking Scheme
The first stage of the SIB Probationary Officers selection process is an online test that consists of objective-type questions based on four different subjects. Each of the four sections in the online test will contain 40 questions and will carry a total of 50 marks each. Therefore there will be a total of 160 questions in the South Indian Bank Probationary Officers online test carrying 200 marks in total.
