SSC CGL Admit Card 2025: Tier 1 Exam Timings

SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2025
1. SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern
The SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam will be held in online mode as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and will serve only as a qualifying stage. The paper is divided into four sections, each containing 25 questions, making it a total of 100 questions for 200 marks. Candidates will be given 60 minutes to complete the test. For every wrong answer, a penalty of 0.50 marks will be applied.

3. SSC CGL Tier 3 Exam Pattern
SSC CGL Tier-03 exam is a descriptive test. Here the candidates will ask to write an Essay, Precis, Letter, or Application. The question paper will be bilingual, English, and Hindi. Exam Duration is 60 minutes ( 01 hours) and maximum marks are 100.
4. SSC CGL Tier 4 Exam Pattern
Tier-04 is a computer skill test. This test has two sections: Data Entry Speed Test (DEST) and Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)
- DEST-Candidates are required to type 2000 words in 15 minutes on a computer in English.
DEST is only for Tax Assistants positions.
- CPT-It is to check the candidate’s proficiency in Word Processing, Spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations, etc.
Only for the posts under the Ministry of Mines and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
SSC CGL Skill Test
The commission will conduct the skill test for posts like:
