Marking Scheme for the SSC CHSL Tier I- Computer-based Test

The marks of the paper can be calculated by comparing it with the answer key released for  Tier-1 by following the marking scheme:

• Add Two marks for each correct answer
• For each incorrect answer, a penalty of 0.50 marks has to be deducted
• And, no marks to be added or subtracted for unattended question
• Thus, add the scores and deduct the marks for the penalty to get the probable score.

The Staff Selection Commission has declared of the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination and release the final answer key

To ensure greater transparency in the examination system, and in the interest of the candidates, the Final Answer Keys along with Question Paper (s) is uploaded on the website of the Commission. And, interested candidates can take a printout of their respective Final Answer Keys along with respective Question Paper from the link provided along with the final answer key PDF notice.

The facility to take a printout of the Final Answer Keys along with the respective Question Paper will be roughly available for one month, from the date of the final answer key release.

Steps to file Objections on SSC CHSL Tentative Answer Key

While checking the provisional answer key and response sheets, if you find any disparity in the answers provided, candidates can raise the issue with the commission to recheck the answer key. The commission will accept the objections from all participants till the date mentioned in the answer key PDF with a non-refundable fee of Rs. 100/-.

Candidates should file their objections, if any, through the online mode within the time limit fixed by the Commission and the decision of the Commission in this regard will be final. Representations on the matter received through any other modes such as letter, application, email, etc. will not be entertained.

To raise objections candidates click on the second tab ‘Raising Objection’.

• Log in with the Registration Number and Password to the Objection management portal.
• Then, select the question number against which you want to raise the objection.
• Mark the answer/ question against which candidates want to raise objection along with the reason for the same.
• After that make the online fee payment of Rs.100 per question.
• Check and submit. Note that objections once submitted can not be changed.

Once the objection deadline is closed all the received objections by candidates will be reviewed by the subject-matter experts of the commission. And objections that are found to be valid by the examination authority will be revised and the final answer key will be published.  The SSC Tier I results will be published based on this revised answer key.

Score-card for SSC CHSL Exam 2024

The scorecard will be released with the results of Tier I, II, and III. Candidates can check the marks and cut off by logging in with the credentials and also, download the scorecard, for future references.
