Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released two important notifications recently regarding the SSC GD Constable recruitment in their official website ssc.nic.in. The notifications are all about the revised results of SSC GD Constable Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/Physical Standard Test (PST) 2018-2019 and the upcoming Detailed Medical Test (DMT).
When it comes to the revised results of PET/PST, 19, 734 additional candidates have been included in the latest shortlist issued by SSC. Now the number of candidates eligible for the Medical Test is 1, 50, 548. Candidates are also informed that the final stage of the recruitment process, Detailed Medical Test is scheduled from 09/01/2020-13/02/2020. They can download the E-admit card from the CRPF website, www.crpf.gov.in. Candidates will not be permitted for DME without the admit card.

The selection process of SSC GD Constable which had been started in 2018 is now on its final stage. Staff Selection Commission conducts SSC GD Constable Examination for the various posts under Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) which are ‘General Duty Constable’ in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Baal(SSB), National Investigation Agency(NIA), Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles.
The recruitment process which had been started in 2018 has come through many phases like written examination, physical efficiency test (PET), physical standard test (PST) etc and now looking forward for the detailed medical test (DMT) and document verification. It is great news for the candidates that a huge number of additional vacancies have been reported in the official website of SSC. The total number of vacancies has been increased from 58373 to 60210 for both, male and female candidates.
