SSC MTS Eligibility and Salary Scale
Candidates who want to write the exam must have passed matriculation or its equivalent from any of the recognized board. However, aspirants not having the qualification yet can produce the same at the time of document verification by acquiring it before 01-08-2025. Those who are having equivalent qualification should produce the equivalence certificate from the concerned authority.
The Staff Selection Commission Multi-Tasking Staff has a Pay Band-1 of Rs 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs 1800 as per revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC. MTS is a General Central Service Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post in various Ministries/Departments/ Offices of the Government of India, in different States/Union Territories. The positions under this post are peon, Mali, operator, junior Gestetner, Chowkidar, Farash, Daftary, Safaiwala etc.
